I love how the measurements and letters are printed on them. The colors and amazing. The hook, it's tip and grip is retro and easy to crochet with. I've dropped mines many times an the paint does not scrap off. Although excess use of the tip can take some paint off.

Product works very nicely, smoothly finished with nice bright colors. Hooks aren't very heavy and are easy to use.

I like this set of needle, I am very satisfied so much that I am doing alot of tunisian crochet now. The only thing I wished they make the interlocking to the extension a bit more sturdy. As I Like my things to last forever. I hate looking for a new one and ordering from hk

I don't know the first thing about needles or what this product is used for, but my wife wanted it so I bought it for her. The response from the store was quick and thorough and the shipment arrived very quickly.

I'm a new knitter and I saw this as a great way to get a range of needle sizes for all the different projects I wanted to complete, which worked. While I now have various sizes of needles, I find them a bit strange to work with (again, I'm a newbie). The cables seem really stiff- once, I was working with the size 15 needles and the longest cable, one of the needles slipped from my hand and because of the way I was turning my work and the stiffness, the needle smacked me in the face. Nothing tragic, but the cables have a bit of a snap to them. No problems with keeping the cables screwed into the needle like others have mentioned- just use the tools provided and they will stay put. The case... well don't expect anything pretty. It holds everything snugly- so you won't open it up and have needles spill out all over the place.

Para que no haya problemas y se suelten o desenronsquen hay que apretar bien con la llave que trae. Otra cosa el grosor del cable para mi no es problema por el contrario me gusta mas asi que los tan finitos que se enrollan mucho. Recomiendo a las principiantes y a las mas avanzadas este kit porque ya no habrá necesidad de comprar mas ajugas quizás más cables de otros tamaños y poder tener varios proyectos. Estoy muy satisfecha y voy a comprar otro kit para mi hermana en su cumpleaños ya que las vió y quedó enamorada de ellas.

They are a good investment. To insure the needles won't come undone, use the wire "key" to tighten your connections. If your hands get tired easy or get tendonitis, use bamboo. The hardness of metal needles aggravate tendonitis. I do not recommend these needles for delicate lace knitting as it could possibly snag and the slipperiness of the needles could make your progress frustrating. I use these needles frequently when I'm knitting scarves or hats using wool or acrylic yarn.

I was very excited to get this set because I am always looking for different length circulars, the set I have you can make 12, 16 inch circulars as well as the larger sizes. I have to say I hate this set. The cables are so unflexible they are impossible to work with. I even tried letting them soak in hot water multiple times to loosen them up, with no success.If anyone is wanting to try magic loop knitting, this set is NOT the one. It will not work well because the cords are so stiff. Also, the needles come loose when knitting, and the way the cable attachs to the needle makes the yarn catch. Another minus is that the needles have no marks on them that tell what size they are, so if you put them up in the wrong order, you have to figure out the size.

This book's projects are fantastic, original, and beautifully photographed. Because of it, I enthusiastically set to work with my crochet hook and some wool, which resulted in a new design. It's a great read and useful for reference purposes also. The author has been thorough and informative as well as inspirational for crocheters at any level, or those who want to get started with this remarkable craft.

I learned so much from this book. Whether you are designing your own crochet projects or just want to choose an appropriate substitute yarn for a pattern, this book will help you do it. There are sections on fiber and yarn, stitch definition, drape versus structure, and even how to work with challenging yarns. Dora teaches the reader how to use swatching to determine the best stitch patterns and hook size for a particular yarn. The concepts are illustrated with excellent photographs. This is not primarily a pattern book, but includes several great patterns that put the theory taught in the book into practice. Highly recommended.

I'm very happy with this book.... no "craft yarn specials"...every thing is high end, nice design ideas, instructions clear and well laid out. Impressive high end effort. I've made 3 bobble hats and they are a huge hit. My one reservation with this book is that I really do not like presentations of finished items on racks/hangers/stands. I'd prefer to see them on human frames/heads. Especially with the hats, you really have no idea what it will look like based upon the images in this book until you make it. I was very surprised how well the bobble hat fit and you'd not get that from the photos. Other than that, very pleased with the book.

This book is a real treat and may I say, well edited. With crisp lanugage and beautiful pictures, the author explains how to think about matching the right yarn to the right stitch to create the kind of fabric that is best for your project. She encourages you to create swatches not to test for gauage but to test for this "match". Oh and it has some nice patterns as well. The book is really well laid out and easy to use. A must for your library if you are at all interested in crocheting.

I love this series. It is light- hearted and funny with a twist of romance and mystery. The crafter in me doesn't know whether to read or crochet! Perhpas because I am partial to croachet over knitting, I prefer these over the Maggie Sefton knitting mystery series. Enjoy!

I was not impressed with this book. The characters are not interesting or plausible. I really enjoy a good mystery and I like mystery series such as those written by Carolyn Hart, Diane Mott Davidson, Joanne Fluke, Sue Grafton and Maggie Sefton. Their books make you eager for the next adventure with characters you can identify with. I will not purchase any ore books by this author.

I loved this book. I love this author. I can't wait for the next one. Its always a plus to have free patterns at the end. Its not that many crochet mysteries out there.

I am thoroughly hooked on Molly Pink and her crew of Tarzana Hookers. This book was so enjoyable that I didn't want it to end. I loved the way the clues were doled out gradually and judiciously, with a sprinkle of red herring and a smidgen of clever concealment. I'm already hanging by a thread waiting for the next one in this series. I'll be like a little kid with her nose to bookstore window, waiting for the next Molly Pink book to hit the shelves ~

I wish I had looked at this book in a store. I expected more patterns or at least ideas. There isn't that much to this book, and what there is wasn't of much interest to me.

This is a great book for those who want to learn how to crochet with big hooks. Would definitely recommend it.

I am a beginner so I found this book to be lots of fun. I've worked with huge knitting needles before and thought it would be fun to crochet with the huge hooks too. The pictures were helpful and the color contrast made them easy to understand. A good beginner book.

Quick Crochet Huge Hooks is a great book for both beginners and experienced crocheters looking for some new projects. It focuses on projects made with hooks 10.00 mm (US size N-13) through 20.00 mm (US size S), with most of the projects using 12.00 mm (US size O/P-15) and 15.00 mm (US size Q). The first section, Huge-Hook Know-How, discusses huge hooks, the yarn to use with them, and how to crochet. There are step-by-step instructions for every crochet stitch used in the book, holding the yarn, increasing and decreasing, and reading the pattern. There are diagrams to aid visual learners, and detailed instructions on how to follow the patterns in the book.
