I needed an ott-lite replacement and went to Amazon to get it. JoAnn's then comes out with a 50% off coupon so I could have gotten it locally. It works great and I needed it working with dark fabrics. Check JoAnn's or Hancock's first before ordering online. You might get a better deal.

The best buy I could find for this bulb replacement. I am blind in one eye and I like the light that these bulbs give off. Shipping costs are high like most every other item you purchase on line.

Originally ordered the wrong bulb from this seller. They were extremely helpful with finding the right bulb for my desk lamp and immediately shipped a new bulb out to me. Would definitely recommend buying from them.

I have an ott-lite and it didn't seem very bright at all. I have been disappointed in it so I decided to replace the bulb and see if that helped. It did! It is much brighter and I can see much better.

I needed to replace the bulb in my floor ott light. This did the trick.

I own several Ott lights, including this one. It's great lighting, but here's what they don't tell you in their misleading ads. 1. Yes, it may be a 13W bulb, but the accompanying transformer is very hot, and Ott's service department refused to inform me how much electricity and heat this hot transformer generates. 2. The transformer is slightly heated even when the light is turned off! What a waste of electricity! 3. Full spectrum light health benefits, if any, are useful only if the ultraviolet rays are seen. But, there is some evidence that macular degeneration (blindness) can result from seeing light that are more bluish, and I would suspect even more so with bluish and ultraviolet. I noticed some deterioration of my vision (more likely due to aging), called Ott's service department, and they denied that there are any possible eye health detrimental effects. How can they possibly know, when there are those suffering from macular degeneration who claim to the contrary. What a bunch of hypocrites to be making claims of healthy lighting and not advising there may be severe damaging effects. If I ever get macular degeneration, Ott will certainly be blamed, because I worked with the Ott lite very closely. Why can't they just tell the truth and the user then can then take preventative measures? 4. These lights overall are expensive, expensive to replace, and very expensive on electricity and heat generated. I think the new type of low wattage bulbs that last much longer are usually superior.

I thought this would be the perfect gift for my budding 4 year old artist. Was I ever wrong! The nicest thing about this 'art' center is the case it comes in. The crayons and oil pastels have barely any color pigments- the oil pastels are almost entirely wax. The color pencils are not much better, and the water color tubes are hard to handle for small hands and don't yield better result than the inexpensive kids versions. The markers are okay, but they were not the selling point for me since young children need to experiment with color blending. She's going back to her REAL art supplies.

This book is full of great designs from the sweater on the cover to lots of cute accessories. Instructions are clearly written out and easy to follow. The only downside is I can't decide what I want to make next!

I love this book! I purchased it soley for the sweater on the front cover, and was/am sooo pleased to find the inspirational quotes and scripture. The crocheting tips, are great too!

I've already made a number of projects from this book, and I am currently working on the cover project. The thing I like most about this book is the variety of projects. There are the basics, like scarves and sweaters, and then there are some really original ideas, like crocheted rings made out of metallic thread and beads, and a little purse keyring to hold your keys. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, making the projects manageable for any level of crocheter. I definitely recommend this book!

Thsi book is just ok, nothing to write home about or work up a sweat. Rozy

"Positively Crochet" is a very good book. Most of the designs are more modern than the usual crocheted items. I have already made the tangerine sweater and the sari silk purse. The directions are clear and the photos helpful. I recommend this book highly!

I would give this book more stars if I could. Why do I like this book so much? It is well written, well edited, and well illustrated. The author has a BFA and it shows in the lovely designs. I can see making every one of them. And the alternate design colors suggested are lovely. The author knows how to write an instructional book that is easy to use, entertaining, and tempting. Starting from a pictorial overview of the five established techniques for incorporating beads into your knitting, to the last project where you can try out every one of them on one small beaded bag, everything is there to make you learn and internalize the crafts of bead and beaded knitting. Yes there is a difference. Also the essential trick about using Eastern knitting to prevent bead knitting from warping is clearly illustrated in photos. The best part is how the beads are an integral part of the designs from the choice of color and placement of the beads inside cables, or other appropriate knitting stitches to how they add beauty to the garments and accessories. They are not added on for the ride. The lovely scarf is designed to be knit from the center out for symmetry, but with a smart provisional cast on so you do not need to fuss with weaving the two halves and possibly ruining the scarf on the last step. I love how thoughtful all the designs are in preventing problems before you get there. As a final bonus, the book is hardcover but also ring bound so it lies perfectly flat as you follow the row by row instructions when you need to. It is small so you can take it with you in a bag. And she tells you how to store the strung yarn so you do not get those devilish slip knots in your work. If you want to buy one knitting book for learning how to use beads and yarn, make it this one. You won't need another beaded knitting book. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

I agree with every one of the 5-star reviews. This book is a model of clarity and explication. I have about 5 books on techniques of adding beads to knits, and this one summarizes all of them in a compact, lay-flat binding. As far as I can tell, every detail relating to writing, illustrating, and book construction for ease-of-use had been considered.

This book contains the clearest explanations for knitting with beads I have ever seen. It has step-by-step pictures for several methods of beaded knitting as well as a variety of other methods of knitting with beads (pre-stringing, hooked beads, etc). It also includes those priceless tips and tricks for making your knitting look perfect. The patterns in this book are decent--some more to my taste than others but that is purely personal. Each of the patterns also includes notes on an alternative design (different beads, different yarn, etc) to give you ideas on how to modify each pattern. The sizing is excellent with sizes for the (few) sweaters extending well into both the small and large sizes. I don't knit with beads often but that was mostly due to frustration--now that I have read this book, I'm reading to give it another go!

Been wondering how to link the both of these crafts - now the secret is out and my fingers will have to get to work.

If you truly want to create crocheted wire jewelery, this is another book to have in your library. Wire is not thread and can be worked up in some of the most beautiful creations. Read the books, practice dilegently and enjoy your masterpiece.

Based on the reviews by others, I bought this book. Unfortunately, there is nothing in it I would really want to wear other than the front cover project. So, I am returning it to Amazon. I have Wiseman's knitting with wire book and like it much more.

It is exactly what the title says, it gives instruction for where to get wire, what types to get, how to crochet with it, and several projects including some that are beaded. The illustrations of the stitches are easy to understand, and the designs range from very delicate using seed beads to some pieces that are very bold. It explains very well start to finish. Love it!

I borrowed this book from my library. I found it so clear and easy to understand that I've decided to buy a copy. Many thanks to Ms. Wiseman for fueling my creative juices!

I just love these little hard case wallets. I purchased several for Christmas gifts, and everyone that received one loves it as well. They are so convenient to carry all my cards and license in. A lot more handy to get in and out of my purse than my big wallet, and easy to take along if I don't want to carry a purse!!!!

Initially I did not like this product because I thought it was too big...I had a smaller wallet case that worked fine for me. But, I got used to this one and really like it now...it is big enough to hold my important cards and some cash and still be able to close (my other one did not close if I tried to overstuff it). Overall, good product!
