Beautiful book. But every block I have tried has a mistake and I have not been able to complete one.Very disappointing.I would not purchase it.

My daughter loves to crochet and has found this book to be very helpful. She has made several afghans and also has used the patterns to make some baby crochet throws for friends. She felt the directions were easy to understand. Would recommend for any person who loves to crochet.

This was my crash course to granny squares. There are lots of square options plus some sample finished patterns. Directions are more or less self explanatory except for occasions like when you are making the shell trimming. I went through a few unravellings with that one. All in all it wasn't a bad purchase. Made my first afghan!

I just love this book, it is really well done and the patterns are amazing... that said, I wish the authors/publisher had included graphic patterns to accompany the written patters. I am new to crochet and find many of the patterns a little confusing. All in all, it is a beautiful book and a worth while purchase.

I have crocheted for 37 years, mostly sweaters, ponchos & shawls for myself and a lot of baby gifts. I don't use patterns and I was never one for squares but a friend at church had this book and, after glancing through it I was intrigued. I ordered it and have been having a WONDERFUL time. It has spured to create some of my most favorite projects. The mix and match of motifs, colors, etc. was very "freeing." I have used the motifs designs in bags, pillows, shawls, hats and more. I have noticed a few errors but nothing that I was unable to overcome. If you love to crochet, don't hesitate. Buy this book!

Tunisian Crochet: The Look of Knitting with the Ease of Crocheting Tunisian Crochet: The Look of Knitting with the Ease of Crocheting

I'm just learning tunisian crochet and this book is extremely helpful. It not only has beautiful patterns but many suggestions, stitch reviews, great photos, and well written.

I'm so excited to get started making something with this cool technique. The instructions are really great. Lots of pictures. I wish the patterns were a litte more interesting but they do allow you to practice the stitches. I think I'll start w/ the sweater vest for my dad.

The directions are easy to follow, a great addition to my Crochet library to try new techniques.

This type of crochet has intrigued me since I am a knitter at heart and have started crocheting recently. To be able to do both in one sitting seems a plus. One of the problems for me has been to find local stores that carry the tunisian hooks. It takes a while to get the hang of it, but I love the look and am anxious to try out some of the easier patterns.

I just got this book yesterday and I have to say that I am wowed. This is the most comprehensive "how to" tunisian book that I have been able to find. The beginning section is very clearly photographed and easy to understand. There are a variety of patterns and they are beautiful. I would have given five stars but I did have a few problems. First, there are only a couple of easy patterns. Second, she uses a variety of novelity yarns that (at least in my area of the country)are very difficult to find and once shipping is factored in very very expensive. But overall a good addition to my crochet library. I love the Frosted Stitch Afghan, the Have it Both Ways pillow and the little girl Jumper that I will be making for my daughter when I am more comfortable with the craft.
