Itty-Bitty Hats: cute and cuddly caps to knit for babies and toddlers Itty-Bitty Hats: cute and cuddly caps to knit for babies and toddlers

This book has lots of cute patterns that are fairly simple to make. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

I am a new self taught knitter. This book has been a wonderful knitting experience for me. I learned how to knit on double pointed needles with this book. All the patterns are very clear and easy for a new knitter. I have knitted half the hats in this book so far. The hats are so cute everybody wants one. Susan B Anderson has a blog: [...] and there is also a group on Ravelry [...] called Itty-Bitty Knits. On both of these sites you can contact Susan with any questions. She also has tutorials on her blog. She is sweet, talented and very friendly. If I could only recommend one book on knitting this would be the one. Happy knitting! Womanwithstixs

This is a great book for beginner to experienced knitters. The designs are unique and fun.

I spotted this book on a table while in line to check out at a bookstore. I picked it up and was inspired to start knitting again after a 5 year hiatus. The technique explanations are just the ticket for beginners or those in need of a refresher (like me). The designs are cute and interesting...also easily modifiable for the more advanced knitter. I have made hats from this book for co-workers, family, and friends and they never fail to delight. The "simple" caps are an incredibly quick knit and make wonderful donations to churches, charities, or hospital NICUs. If you are looking for sweet little projects that give instant gratification, get this book. (Bonus points for the layout and spiral binding!)

I purchased this book with only a few years of basic knitting under my belt. I felt her patterns were VERY easy to follow and she gave very clear explanations. There are MANY more girl patterns than boy but that is just the way it always is. The projects are quick to finish as baby items always are and people will be AMAZED by your "skill". Buy it - you'll fall in love with it. And fall in love with your baby all over again by these cute hats on top of their precious heads!

Beautifully rendered, heartbreakingly adorable, and wonderfully wacky knitted caps for newborns and toddlers Thirty-eight million Americans knit, and that number grows every day. The baby hat is the perfect project for knitters of any level, with enchanting patterns that are easy enough for rank beginners but also interesting enough for the most accomplished needle wielders, in yarns that range from silk and linen to cashmere and mohair...

Appreciated the little cards and book marks that were added to the order. Nice touch.

I had purchased Ana Rimoli's first Amigurumi book to learn how to crochet and loved it, then when her second book came out I bought it as well. She explains the directions very well on how to create these cute little items. I have looked at many other crochet books and the directions haven't been as good yet more confusing. This Amigurumi book has cute ideas that make great gifts. I can't wait until she comes out with another book. The only item I have made from this book so far is the Large Fish which turned out really cute. Looking forward to making more items from this book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who currently knows how to crochet or is a beginner wanting to learn.

My daughters and her friends have 'ordered' every project! Now to find the time! Great instructions and great photographs. I bought this book for the peas in a pod pattern but what I didn't realize was that they were so BIG! Oh, well, the book is still awesome! I'll buy every one you put out. AMIGURUMI LOVE!!!

I own the first book and bought this one as soon as I knew it was out. I made 6 projects in the first week and got a ton of compliments. Everything works up very quickly and can be finished in a few hours. Easy instructions and just basic stitches this book is great for beginners and fun for everyone.

I'm so happy to have a crochet pattern book where I want to make everything in it! This is a great book with lots of cute patterns in it for all ages. My daughter and son have loved every toy I've made from both this book and Ana's first book. The patterns are really quick and easy too. I'd call myself an advanced beginner and I have no problem working through the patterns. Ana also has a ton of cute patterns on her etsy site. This is deffinetly a book to add to your collection!

Baby Beanies: Happy Hats to Knit for Little Heads Baby Beanies: Happy Hats to Knit for Little Heads

The pictures are adorable and the patterns are easy to follow, even for an advanced beginner like me. The book is well worth the money.

The book was in perfect condition. The patterns are very cute and easy patterns. Quick project for an experienced knitter with variation possibilities. Great for a beginner.

This is a wonderful book! It is perfect for beginners, but the projects certainly don't look like beginners made them! The pictures are so adorable (my 17 month old loves looking at them) and the book explains everything one needs to know to knit. I wish I could give this product five stars, however, the Special Day Silk Hat, and the jester type hat (don't remember its title) have patterns that don't match the pictures. It's certainly easy to spot the mistakes and fix them when you've been knitting for a little while, however this oversite makes me rate it a little lower. But definately worth getting!

i purchased this book several months ago and have fallen in love with it. it has given me lots of different ideas to use in my own hat making. and every single one of the hats is darling. that being said, of the hats i have knitted from the book, each one of the patterns contains at least one mistake. as an intermediate knitter, i have recognized the mistakes and am able to "fix" the pattern so i can achieve the desired end however, for a beginning knitter or one who is unfamiliar with hat patterns, i would find that very frustrating. overall, a great book to add to any pattern book library but with a few drawbacks...

I saw a hat from this book (The Chocqua)in a yarn shop and was SO charmed by it, that I had to have the book. When I looked through the book and saw that I loved almost every hat, I could see visions of actually USING MY BABY HAT YARN STASH! Well, who knows if that will really happen, but I seriously could see using my stash to make multiple versions of each hat. I have made the Chocqua now, and two versions of the Accordion Hat, and have plans to try out different self-striping superwash yarns on many of the hats. I haven't had this much fun in a long time! I highly recommend this book for anyone who is looking to do some unique and completely adorable hats for their children or grandchildren!

Whatever their activities, we think you’ll agree: babies should wear hats. Mainly because they look so darned cute in hats! And they look really, really cute in Baby Beanies. Author and photographer Amanda Keeys designed these enchanting toppers for her professional portraits of babies, and her simple patterns use bright colors, lush textures, and quirky embellishments to rise to the top...
